EternaKeys Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-04-03
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the EternaKeys service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.
2. Permitted Use
EternaKeys is intended for:
- Storing encrypted personal records, credentials, directives, and digital legacy information
- Designating heirs and managing access transfer workflows
- Personal and family estate planning purposes
3. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Store, transmit, or facilitate illegal content or activities
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security measures
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or other users' access
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service for commercial data storage unrelated to digital legacy planning
- Engage in automated abuse, scraping, or denial-of-service attacks
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity in heir access requests
4. Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Due to the zero-knowledge architecture, enforcement actions affect account access — we cannot view or modify encrypted vault content.
5. Reporting
